Meeting Minutes

President Billy opened the meeting and called on Tim Owings who led the pledge and invocation. Tim also introduced a very special guest, General George Patton, who presented a very inspiring message to the troops. Chris McKinney introduced the guests and visiting Rotarians. President Billy gave thanks to everyone for contributing to the fund last week. We were able to raise $286.00.

This week's Club Challenger is Billy Franke and the Outside Challenger is Sherman and Hemstreet. Greg Deloach gave the Sunshine Report.

President Billy made the following announcements/presentations

• The Rotary Greenjackets game is tentatively scheduled for August 7th.
• District training will take place 8/15/15.
• He called on Haskell Toporek who gave an update on behalf of the HULL Fund. Haskell thanked all of the committee members for their hard work, especially Eddie Booth and Brinsley Thigpen who just finished out their three year terms. He also welcomed Erin Armstrong and George Hall to the committee.

Haskell remained on stage and introduced our newest club member, Stacey Atkins, Executive Director of the Augusta Sports Council.

Following the announcements, we conducted our annual club assembly so that committees could meet with their members and establish goals for 2015-2016. The meeting was adjourned after reciting the Four-Way test.
