Meeting Minutes
President Jerry opened the meeting and called on Tim Owings who led the pledge and invocation.
Christine Miller introduced the guests and visiting Rotarians and Richard Rogers provided the Sunshine Report. President Jerry gave thanks to last week's Club CART Challenger, Betty Dykes, and the Outside Challenger, Stacy Tallent, who helped us raise $218.73 for the fund. This week's CART Challenger is Leland Malchow.
President Jerry made the following announcements/presentations:
- Preview of Rotary online magazine.
- Golf tournament is May 19th. at the River Golf Club.
- Sign up for District Conference
- New member orientation at Kevin Wade office.
New Members:
President Jerry recognized new member Mark Gilliam.
Club Speaker: Dee Bruker
Topic: 10reasons to attend the District Conference:
- Fellowship
- Door prizes with every meal.
- GRSP students will attend.
- Great meals planned.
- Painting and laughing activity.
- Patriot boat tour and lunch on the Savannah River.
- Golf outing at the River Club.
- Trolley tour.
- Registration is only $35.00
- The District Conference is in Augusta.
President Jerry presented Billy Franke with a level 3 badge as recognition for sponsoring new members.
President Jerry conducted Trivia. The meeting was adjourned after reciting the Four-Way test.
