President Jerry opened the meeting and called on Erick Montgomery who led the pledge and invocation.
Richie Harmon introduced the guests and visiting Rotarians. Tom Tuckey gave the Sunshine Report and shared some "On This Date" historical events and club member birthdays.
President Jerry gave thanks to last week's Club Cart Challenger, Hal Scott, and the Outside Challenger, Jana King, who helped us raise $232.68 for the fund.
The Club CART Challenger for the meeting is Sunny Tucker, and the Outside CART Challenger is Kirk Epps, Sales Manager Gerald Jones VW Audi.

District Conference is May 1-3 here in Augusta. Register online at the District website; raffle tickets are on sale for $5 apiece after the weekly meetings.
The Downtown Augusta chapter Golf Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday May 19th; more information TBA.
Rabbi David Sirrul is offering CDs for sale, with the funds going to support Rotary Polio Plus.
Ed Presnell introduced new member Becky Sheeley. New member Occupation: V.P. of Business Development at Augusta Aviation.

Name: Dr. Mohammed Davoud, Ph. D., P.E.; Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Georgia Southern University.
Topic: The College of Engineering and Information Technology at Georgia Southern University.
Dr. Davoud shared an overview of the work of the College of Engineering and I.T., describing the academic and practical skills that students acquire. He went on to describe some of the technologies that have been developed within the college. He ended by enumerating various partnerships between the college and local industry, and wider relationships with the scientific and business communities.
Next week's speaker will be Christine Miller-Betts, of the Lucy Laney-Craft Museum.
(Note: The Club will not meet on Monday, April 6th, due to Masters' Week.)
The meeting was adjourned following the recital of the Four-Way Test.
