Meeting Minutes

President Jerry Rogers opened the meeting and called on Barry White who led the pledge and invocation.

Chris McKinney introduced the guests and visiting Rotarians.
President Jerry gave thanks to last week's Club Cart Challenger, Bob Baisden, and the Outside Challenger, RW Toole, who helped us raise $469.52 for the fund.

The Club CART Challenger for the meeting is Regions Bank and the Outside CART Challenger is Regions Mortgage.

President Jerry made the following announcements/presentations:
We have a Rotary Social on 02/13/15 at Augusta Country Club. Please RSVP to Peggy Whitehurst. It should be a great time!

New Members:
Billy Franke introduced new member TR Reddy. Welcome to Augusta Rotary, TR Reddy! David Hudson introduced new member Andrew Mize. Andrew is a financial analyst with Club Car. Welcome to Rotary Andrew Mize!

Guest Speaker:
Lowell Greenbaum introduced our guest speaker, Mayor Hardie Davis. Mayor Davis presented his goals as new Mayor of Augusta and outlined his desire to streamline and make more efficient programs which our government already has in place. He attended a mayor's conference in Washington DC. Augusta has not had a presence at that conference since before Bob Young was Mayor. He enjoyed the insight other Mayors around the country had to share.

The meeting was adjourned following the recital of the Four-Way Test.
