Meeting Minutes
President Bill Keogh rang the bell and called the meeting to order.
Neal Dickert gave the pledge and invocation.
Connie Melear gave the Sunshine Report today.
Matt Barrett called on club members to introduce their guests in attendance today.
Announcements
- President Bill reminded the club that our GRSP Student Victoria Jorgenson is available for any events or activities you may be planning.
- He also congratulated Brenda Durant for being the focus of a recent article titled, “Keeping up with Brenda Durant”.
- Our schedule of speakers/topics for the coming weeks include,
- Victoria Jorgenson, our GRSP student, will speak on 10/2
- Monday October 9th will be a holiday
- Dr David Hess with Wellstar will speak on 10/16
- Brad Usry will speak about the proposed new arena on 10/23
- President Bill reminded the club to watch for details on the upcoming YPA Social being held 10/10/23 at Top Golf.
- Speaking of golf, watch for details on the upcoming Mulherin Golf Tournament named for Mr. Brian Mulherin. Mr. Mulherin was a strong supporter of the community along with his wife, and club member, Mrs. Neita Mulherin.
- Everyone is encouraged to use the DACdb website and app. It is a great way to stay connected with fellow Rotarians.
