Meeting Minutes
President Bill rang the bell and called the meeting to order.
Kevin Grogan gave the pledge and invocation.
Matt Barrett gave the Sunshine Report today.
Club members introduced their guests in attendance today.
Announcements
- Member Dat Hoang has been selected for Columbia County Leadership Class of 24
- Bill introduced our newest GRSP student Victoria Jorgensen from Denmark.
- The College Pick Em will be August 28. Please contact Stacy Tallent if you want to preview your favorite college team.
- No meeting on Labor Day, September 4th.
- A special advanced screening of the upcoming movie “The Hill” will be at the Miller Theater on August 23, contact member Bennish Brown for free invitations.
- Contact member A.K. Gulati for complementary tickets to India Day celebrations on August 26.

Guest Speaker/Program
Our guest speaker was Jeannine Steinkuhl, President of the Young Professionals of Augusta. Jeannine discussed the YPA mission to support the communities they serve by providing its members with opportunities for networking, professional development, and community outreach. The YPA members are from 21 to 40 years old and have approximately 200 members. The three pillars of the club are to provide and nurture coaching, mentorship, and sponsorship. YPA has an active event schedule with their next event at Wild Sugar on September 20th.
Bill led us in reciting the four-way test and then adjourned the meeting.
