Meeting Minutes
President Leland Malchow rang the bell @ 12:15 and called the meeting to order. The pledge and invocation was given by David Hudson.
Moment of Silence / Reflection
I’d like to have a moment of silence and reflection on the passing of our past president Lee Smith. What a great life of leadership and community service he lived and he is an example to us all.
President Leland Malchow welcomed our guests and visiting Rotarians. Thanks to our inside challenger, Robert Osbourne, and the outside challenger, Judge Carl Brown. This week the inside challenger is Charles Stewart. Clark gave our Sunshine Report.
Announcements
Sign up for the Golf Tournament. It will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the River Club.
Future Programs
On April 29, 2019 Jim Davis from University will be our speaker. We will not meet on Monday, May 6, 2019 due to the golf tournament on the following day May 7th.
Introduction of GRSP Student
We really had a wonderful GRSP Student this year with Lenya Larson. She has been a joy to be around. She is truly has been an ambassador for her country and a wonderful young lady.
Program:
Janice Jackson introduced our guest speaker, Lynn Bailey, Richmond County Board of Elections.
Following the presentation, President Leland led us in reciting the four way test and then adjourned the meeting.
