Meeting Minutes
President Jennifer Pennington rang the bell and called the meeting to order. The pledge and invocation was given by Jeff Flowers. President Jennifer gave a “Rotary Moment”. Jeff Flowers welcomed our guests and visiting Rotarians. Last week we raised $473.13 for the Cart Fund. Rick Herring was the Inside Challenger and Rick Bowen, Gerald Jones Audi was the Outside Challenger. Faye Hargrove gave our Sunshine Report. It was Sunshine Raisin day.
Announcements:
Member Recognition Day for Paul Harris Fellows.
- The following were recognized for additional service related to being a Paul Harris Fellow:

- Valentine Party 2/10/17 at the Augusta County Club from 6:30 – 8:30
- Rotary Golf Tournament 4/17/17.
- Dee Beaird announced a service project to improve the green room at the Imperial Theatre.
New Members:
Anne Catherine Murray, Executive Director of the Symphony Orchestra Augusta was welcomed as our newest member and presented by Connie Melear.
Program:
Steve Hobbs introduced our guest speaker, Dr. Roscoe Williams, who discussed race relations in the CSRA.
Following the presentation, President Jennifer led us in reciting the four-way test and then adjourned the meeting.
Our next meeting is on Monday, February 7, 2017. It will feature Member Talks.
