Meeting Minutes
President Leland Malchow rang the bell to call the meeting to order. Tim Owings gave the Pledge and Invocation. Daniel Rhodes introduced the guests and visiting Rotarians. At our last meeting we raised $294.00. The inside challenger was President Leland Malchow and the outside challenger was Nimmons and Malchow, P.C. This week the inside challenger is new club member Natalie Paine and the outside challenger is Rotarian Jeanette Cummings. The Sunshine Report was presented by Gould Hagler.
NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS
President Leland called on Neita Mulherin to introduce our newest member Renee Gallup with University Hospital.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
District Assembly will take place on July 28th. Anyone interested in participating should contact President Leland.
PROGRAM:
President Leland called on Erick Montgomery to introduce our guest speaker, Kristi Jilson, Executive Director of the Westobou Festival. The festival will take place October 3rd – 7th this year and will consist of 50 events hosted at 22 different venues.
All-Access passes are available for $75 each and VIP passes are $125 each. Depending on the event and the location, seating may be limited so having one of these passes may help secure your seat. Individual event/concert tickets will be available but the All-Access pass is the absolute best value if you plan to see more than one event.
The event will once again spotlight the diverse range of art, music, dance, and food available in our area. Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of this truly unique event. Group and student discounts are also available.
REMINDER:
Our next meeting will be July 23th and the speaker will be Terry Childers of Bradford Health Services. Terry will speak on the heroin and opioid crisis.
The meeting was adjourned with the Four Way Test.
