| A Message from President Frank |
It is truly an honor to serve as your President for the upcoming Rotary year. I would also like to thank our club for the opportunity to attend the Rotary International Convention in Montreal last week. My wife, Carol, and I were extremely proud to be representing our great club.
Our first meeting of the new year will be Monday, July 12th. We have a Club Assembly Day planned and I trust you will make every effort to attend this important kick off meeting.
Thank you for your service to our club. Have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend.

Presiding over his final meeting, President Bob called the meeting to order.
The Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation were led by Mark Maund.
Guests were introduced and Jim Price was announced as the Cart Challenger. This is the final week for the collection of contributions in memory of Barbara Botts.
David Hudson was called upon and presented a Memorial Resolution in memory of long time Rotarian Patrick Pat Sizemore. Pats life and achievements were highlighted as well as the many civic groups he was a member of in the Augusta area. He was a 20 year member of our club and was also a Paul Harris Fellow. The club celebrated his life and stood in a moment of silence in his honor. President Bob presented a copy of the Memorial Resolution to Pats wife Kent and son, Past President Ernie Sizemore.
President Bob recognized all of the Board members for a great job in their previous year of service.
Thom Tuckey presented the Sunshine Report and highlighted all the things that happened on this day in history.
President Bob made comments and expressed thanks for the year. He shared stories and reminded the club of having fun with Rotary and the weekly meetings as well as not taking things for granted. When things get routine you forget how special they are; lets all remember how special Rotary is.
The passing of the gavel took place with incoming President Frank Mulherin. President Frank accepted the gavel and the presidency with his wife Carol at his side and joined all previous Presidents for a nice ceremony. The gavel passing began with the earliest past president, Bit Williams, and ended with our new President Frank Mulherin.
President Frank presented Bob with Past Presidents Pin.
The meeting was adjourned with Connie Melear leading the club in singing God Bless America.
