Meeting Minutes
President Ed Presnell rang the bell to call the meeting to order and called on David Hudson who led the pledge and invocation. John Sebby introduced the guests and visiting Rotarians. Inside Challenger is Robert Osborne and South State Bank was the Outside challenger. Richard Rogers gave the Sunshine Report. President Presnell reminded the club that Leland Malchow will be hosting the Past President's Luncheon on Thursday, May 17 at noon.
President Ed Presnell introduced our speaker District Governor Hamsa Thota.
District Governor Thota honored everyone who participated in the recent District Governor Paul Harris Fellow matching dollars/points campaign. First-time Paul Harris Fellows were recognized. In addition to first-time honorees, Paul Harris Plus pins were awarded to members who have moved on to the next level of giving. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
Next meeting will be May 21 where we will honor our Students Who Care as presented by Kevin Wade and The Hull Fund Committee.
The meeting was adjourned with the Four Way Test.
