Meeting Minutes
President Ed Presnell rang the bell to call the meeting to order. David Hudson led the Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation. President Ed Presnell mentioned that he, Leland Malchow and Scott Kelly had attended the RLI meeting in Savannah. At our last meeting, we raised $314.45 with Charles Stewart as the challenger. Brad Means presented the Sunshine Report that included many surprising facts about the Super Bowl.
Announcements:
- Valentine’s Day Reception to be held at Augusta Country Club.
- New Member Rotary Information meeting next Tuesday, February 13 and 4:30 at Kevin Wade’s Office.
- February Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, February 13 and 4:30 at the Cranston Engineering Offices.
- President Ed recognized Susan Everitt and the board of the Red Cross for their service to the community. The Red Cross and Rotary International were involved in the founding and organization of the United Nations.
Program:
The speaker was fellow Rotarian Janice Jackson who presented an update on the City/County government that was very informative.
The meeting was concluded with the Four Way Test.
